CURRENTLY HIRING:  Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative

This position will serve as the liaison between Morcon and any current or prospective customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in both customer service and inside sales. Using excellent communication and follow up skills, the daily activities will include but not be limited to answering phone calls, emails, providing consultative solutions, executing administrative tasks to support the sales team and working as an effective team member to deliver the highest level of service possible.

A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, professional and a go-getter.

The ability to multi-task and manage a fast-paced environment is required.


  • Correspond professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers and subject matter experts
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Respond to customers and peers by phone quickly and accurately
  • Input and process orders and quote requests with a focus on accuracy
  • Cold call existing customers
  • Provide customer leads to Morcon outside sales representative after an initial screening of the customers’ needs and or interests
  • Effectively communicate with Purchasing, Operations, Transportation, Sales and Accounting when needed
  • Work closely with manufacturing personnel to meet customers’ requirements
  • Provide account management responsibilities for a select number of Morcon accounts


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years in an inside sales, customer service support role
  • Ability to work from 8:30-5:00pm EST
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Excellent and confident customer support skills and overall positive disposition
  • Significant experience with SAP business platforms with an emphasis on SAP Business One
  • Experience in using CRM (Client Relationship Management) software to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Office 365, preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver efficient results on time


  • Required to regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
  • Required to regularly reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear
