CURRENTLY HIRING:  Supply Chain Coordinator

This position is responsible for providing support, including administrative, tactical and execution of the daily activities of the supply chain process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide tactical support for the Outsourcing and Raw Materials branches of the supply chain process
  • Enter receipt of goods and transfer of goods into the system
  • Update and maintain in-transit-tracking Excel and Sage system tracker
  • Update the Excel forecast model with delivery dates and or changes to the schedule
  • Coordinate delivery appointments between Freight-Forwarder and facilities
  • Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to both staff and suppliers
  • Update supplier information and pricing into the system
  • Issues purchase orders for the purpose to acquire materials at the required price, location and time and issue change orders when needed
  • Maintain purchasing documents and data and review, as needed, for the purpose of ensuring completeness and accuracy of purchasing process
  • Resolve internal and operation problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers’ dissatisfaction
  • Liaise with staff and suppliers to monitor, reconcile and communicate inventory levels
  • Accurately process return of goods to suppliers and accepting inspecting or properly disposing of customer returns and exchanges.
  • Daily review of the MRP (Excel or System) and issue and verify purchase orders for the purpose to acquire materials at the required price, location and time and issue change orders when needed
  • Participates in meetings, training, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency at the intermediate to experienced level in MS Office software applications
  • Advanced experience and knowledge in MS Excel including formatting, v-look ups and pivot tables
  • Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, purchasing and or supply chain, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary company information
  • Must be energetic with a positive attitude
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team
  • Other duties as assigned
