Joe Raccuia, Owner & President

Education: MBA in Management from Wagner College

Joe’s career in the tissue industry began over 30 years ago. He held a number of sales leadership positions until the mid-1990’s when he was selected as CEO to lead a turnaround at Encore Paper Company. Encore was located in Upstate NY and focused solely in the Away from Home Tissue category. Encore was purchased by SCA Tissue in 2001. Joe was then selected to become President & CEO of SCA Tissue North America, leading that business to over $1billion in sales. In 2009, he decided to stay closer to home and crossed the river in Glens Falls NY to join Finch Paper as the President & CEO, leading their efforts in the printing paper industry. In 2013, Joe made his longtime dream a reality and purchased his own business: Morcon Tissue. Since taking over this business, Morcon Tissue has doubled in revenue over the past 5 years. Joe sees nothing but continued opportunities in this space. When not working, Joe keeps himself busy with family, food, travel, and sports.
